About the Program
Home Care Partners operates the Safe at Home program for the DC Office on Aging and Community Living (DACL). DACL’s Safe at Home program provides in-home preventative adaptations to reduce the risk of falls for DC residents age 60 and older and adults with disabilities. This may include handrails, grab bars, bathtub cuts, shower seats, stair lifts, etc.
Am I eligible?
- Must be a DC resident
- Age 60+ OR adult with a disability
- Maximum income of $99,600 per year for an individual or $113,850 for a married couple
Not all applicants will qualify for Safe at Home. Applicants who are not qualified may be referred to programs that better suit your needs.
