Safe at Home 1.0 and 2.0 Overview
Home Care Partners operates the Safe at Home 1.0 Program for the DC Office on Aging and Community Living (DACL). The original Safe at Home program provides in-home preventative adaptations to reduce the risk of falls for DC residents. In 2023, Mayor Bowser expanded the program to include Safe at Home 2.0, which includes additional programming, such as classes, aimed at providing residents with new information and exercises to reduce the risk of falls.
