HCP Training Institute
Home Care Aide Training
We at Home Care Partners believe that quality care begins with quality training. Home Care Partners Training Institute operates under the supervision of a Nurse Educator. Currently the Training Institute is focused on providing the best training to its home care aides to ensure that skills are up-to-date, introduce innovative techniques in caregiving and ensure that all aides maintain their certification. All aides employed at Home Care Partners receive 12 hours of in-service training annually. Their training includes skills review and testing, infection control, and ethics. All classes are taught by registered nurses with guest speakers on select topics.
Entry Level Classes Discontinued
In 2016 Home Care Partners discontinued offering the 125-hour entry-level home health aide certification course. Students interested in pursuing this course may contact the DC Board of Nursing for a current listing of authorized training schools.
